A day at TopMind
You drop your child off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon — in between is a whole day of care. This page tells that day in full: what your child learns, eats, how they rest, and how we keep them safe.
After 17:15 a late-stay fee of 50,000₫ per 15 minutes applies — it simply guarantees a teacher stays right beside your child until you arrive.
How does each hour of the day go?
A typical kindergarten day — full of learning, play, meals, rest and movement.
- 7:00 – 8:00
Welcome & breakfast
A teacher greets your child at the gate, runs a quick health check, then it's breakfast and gentle free play to start the day.
- 8:00 – 8:30
Circle time
The class gathers in a circle: roll call, the good-morning song, and a chat about the week's theme in both languages.
- 8:30 – 10:00
Morning learning
English phonics and vocabulary, Vietnamese, STEAM, Taekwondo or garden time — each day has its own beat on the class timetable.
- 10:00 – 14:00
Lunch & nap
A hot lunch from our own kitchen, milk, a nap to soft instrumental music, and a light snack when your child wakes.
- 14:00 – 15:00
English with the foreign teacher
Play & Learn with a native-speaking teacher, conversation club, or the week's creative project.
- 15:00 – 15:30
Yoga, meditation & writing
Your child learns to listen to their breath, moves gently, practises writing on the ePad and has an afternoon snack.
- 15:30 – 16:00
Swimming, dance & life skills
Depending on the day: swimming, dance, book club or a self-care life-skills lesson.
- 16:00 – 17:00
Home time
Tidy-up together, free play, and waiting for you in a familiar, safe place.

About your child's day
What time do doors open and close? What if I'm late?
Doors open at 7:00 and we ask that children arrive by 8:30 for morning learning. Standard pick-up is 16:00–16:30, free until 17:15; after that a late-stay fee of 50,000₫ per 15 minutes applies. If your child will be absent, let us know via the KidsOnline app or hotline before 7:30.
What does my child eat at school?
Four meals a day — breakfast, a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon meal — cooked fresh in the school's own kitchen for 55,000₫ per day. The kitchen holds the VSATTP food-safety certificate 2025–2028, the water is ISO-tested, and the weekly menu is shared through the app.
How does nap time work?
After lunch, children nap in their classroom with their own blanket and pillow from home, to soft instrumental music. They wake to a light snack before afternoon activities — and the day even includes yoga and meditation, so children learn how to rest.
What does my child need to bring?
Daily: a water bottle, two spare outfits, a sun hat and two cartons of UHT milk. A small blanket and pillow come in on Monday and go home to wash on Saturday. Ages 1–3 add diapers; ages 3–6 add a toothbrush. Please leave toys, candy and valuables at home — and label everything.
How does the school keep my child safe?
TopMind is a licensed school with CCTV across shared areas and a clear access policy, live streaming for authorized parents, gate rules so only registered adults can collect a child, health and growth checks every two weeks, and 10-billion-VND liability insurance.
How do I follow my child's progress?
You get updates and photos through the app every day, a bilingual monthly report with your child's moments, a detailed bilingual report card each term, and regular parent-teacher meetings.
Does my child get outdoor time?
Every day includes garden or park time; swimming twice a week and Taekwondo once a week are included in tuition; and every other week the whole class goes on a field trip — rice fields, farms and the big parks around the city.
